I have strong ties in different areas: Communication Management and Planning, Corporate Communication, Broadcast, Journalism, Web Communication, Advertising, Teaching and Research.

Ricardo Rios is a Professor in the Marketing and Communications School at UNIPAC (Brazil). He received a BA in Social Communication, at the Federal University of Sao Joao del-Rei (Brazil), a MA in International Relations, at the Pontifical University of Minas Gerais (Brazil) and the University of Coimbra (Portugal), and a PhD in Communications, at Federal University of Juiz de Fora (Brazil).
He is the creator of TV Barbacena, an iBest Award winner. Rios is a member of Intercom, the Brazilian Society of Interdisciplinary Studies of Communications and in 2015 was awarded with Jose Marques de Melo Award by the Brazilian Association of Media History Researches (ALCAR Network). Recently his research has focused on understanding the Eurovision Song Contest as a relevant actor on soft power inside Europe's international relations.
Amongst Brazilian scholars, he has published the most academic research on the Eurovision Song Contest.
